Work Environment
When you join Lyons & Hohl Paving, your daily reporting will be to our central paving shop in East Earl—the heart of our operations. Subsequently, you and other team members reporting to the same site will be efficiently transported together in a company vehicle. Both travel time to and from job sites will be compensated. Our commitment is to prioritize your comfort and convenience, ensuring you have the necessary resources to concentrate on delivering top-quality work.

Seasonal Considerations
Recognizing the impact of our local climate, we want our team members to be prepared. Work during the winter months is limited as asphalt paving is not feasible in colder temperatures. Grading & Milling Operator

Are you skilled with equipment and ready to take your career to the next level? Lyons & Hohl Paving is looking for a Grading & Milling Operator to join our grading and paving prep crew. This role centers around operating skid loaders with various attachments, including brooms and milling heads, to prepare surfaces for paving.

Here’s what your day might look like:

Start the day at our East Earl shop, preparing tools and equipment.
Perform daily equipment inspections and light preventative maintenance.
Use your skills to place material and achieve proper grading for every project.
Wrap up by ensuring the site is clean and ready for the next phase.

Class A CDL Driver & Laborer

Love being on the move but also want to get involved on the jobsite? Lyons & Hohl Paving is hiring a Class A CDL Driver & Laborer, a unique role that combines driving with hands-on work. You’ll haul equipment to and from jobsites and assist on the ground with paving and grading work.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

A CDL Class A license.
The ability to perform pre-trip inspections and light maintenance on your truck.
A willingness to assist with site work—whether it’s running equipment (we’ll train you!) or helping with labor tasks.

Asphalt Roller Operator

Do you have experience operating rollers on paving crews, or are you ready to master the craft? Lyons & Hohl Paving is hiring an Asphalt Roller Operator to help us deliver smooth, high-quality surfaces. Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting daily equipment inspections and light maintenance.

Paving Laborer

Looking to start or grow your career in the paving industry? Lyons & Hohl Paving is hiring a Paving Laborer to be part of our hard-working, close-knit team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys physical work, being outdoors, and contributing to projects that last for decades.

Here’s what you’ll do:

Prepare surfaces for grading and paving using hand tools and small equipment.
Assist with material placement and ensure proper finishing.
Work safely with other team members to deliver exceptional results.
End the day by cleaning up the site and getting ready for the next job.
