Corporal Hardy, a Marine serving with the 3rd Assault Amphibian Battalion exemplified bravery and unwavering dedication to our country. πΊπΈ
Today, we reflect on the sacrifice he made on April 28, 2006 while on an aid and assist mission in Anbar Province, Iraq. Alongside his fellow Marines, Sergeant Lea R. Mills and Sergeant Edward G. Davis III, Corporal Hardy made the ultimate sacrifice when their vehicle was struck by an IED.
We honor their memory and the countless others who have given their lives in defense of our freedom. Their courage and selflessness will forever be etched in our hearts.
As we enjoy the freedoms and blessings of this day, let us remember those who have fallen, like Corporal Brandan Hardy, and express our deepest gratitude for their sacrifice. May we never forget their service and may their legacy continue to inspire us to uphold the values they fought to protect. πΊπΈ
